Juice is a musical pipe bomb: an explosion of energy and invention. They make music the hard way, whether climbing xylophones, stomping on barrels, impersonating percussion, or battling with poles, electronics, or cellos. Fusing all these elements together, Juice builds music to be seen as well as heard in one electrifying show.
Their nine members hail from a variety of backgrounds including classical and electronic musicians, drummers, dancers, composers, DJs, and even a clown. The group formed in 2008 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and has performed in 7 states at colleges, festivals, theaters, and other events. Musically, Juice combines driving percussion and tasty beats with catchy melodies and uncommon sounds both acoustic and electronic—all along with a spark of humor. Their show continues to grow as they break out new ideas and instruments, fine-tune their inventions, and expand their set of over 40 drums and as many other items.
