Pronouns: she, her, hers

Skylar is a new face here at the College Agency, and a face that you will rarely see without a smile! Skylar is a versatile model, blogger and social media branding expert. After giving up her Miss Wisconsin USA title in September of 2017, she began working with USA State Pageants putting her skills to use and working hands on with titleholders from across the midwest. Now with the College Agency, Skylar will take on a variety of roles. She will work primarily as an agent, while also assisting in areas such as digital marketing and social media. Skylar is excited to dive headfirst into this new endeavor and as a recent graduate, she is excited to be working first-hand with students to help them find programming that is a perfect fit for their school!

Describe your perfect day:
As a lover of all things music, theater, and food, my perfect day would have to involve all three. A sushi lunch (starting at lunch because every perfect day involves sleeping in), followed by a Broadway musical, finished off dancing my heart out to a live band and eating fried cheese curds - it doesn't get better than that!

Alma mater:
University of Wisconsin - Madison

Proudest Accomplishment or Award:
Winning Miss Wisconsin USA 2017 when I was 19

Why do you like your job?
As a recent college graduate, I love getting to work with students and connect them with artists to bring something new and exciting to campuses across the country. Whether it's a message students need to hear, a good laugh, a fun way to kick back and relax before finals, or a musical performance they'll never forget this job allows me to create memories for students that can last a lifetime.

Family:
Wisconsin is in our blood. My father, Jeff, travels the state of Wisconsin like it's his job...because it is! He works in sales and spends his weekends as the general manager of the Bootleggers Supper Club, a restaurant in Tomahawk owned by my great-aunt that has been in my family for over 25 years. Just up the road, my mother, Jesica works as the director for the Tomahawk Chamber of Commerce and gives the type of hugs that can only come from a mom, you know the kind. My brother Noah is about to begin his first year of school at my parent's alma mater, UW-Eau Claire and is keeping himself busy! I love being just "over the border" from my family!
